Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Chris Lauffer, doing business as MloaderDigital, based in Western Pennsylvania. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site or get in touch, how it is used, and what choices you have.

What this covers
This policy covers the MloaderDigital website and the pages, forms and mailings run under the MloaderDigital name. It does not cover other websites you reach from links here. Those have their own policies.
Information collected automatically
When you visit, some information is recorded without you entering anything:
- Pages viewed, time on the site, and the link or search that brought you here.
- General location at the city or region level, taken from your IP address.
- Device and browser type, screen size, and operating system.
- Server logs kept by the web host, which include IP addresses and the files requested.
This is used to understand which pages are useful and whether the site is working. It is not used to identify you personally.
Information you provide
You only give information if you choose to. Where a form, a subscription box or a booking link is used, the information you enter is collected. That usually means your name, email address, company name, and anything you write in a message field.
Booking a call opens a scheduler hosted by HubSpot in a new tab. What you enter there is collected by HubSpot under its own policy and is also available to MloaderDigital for the purpose of arranging and following up on the meeting.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser to recognize return visits and count traffic. Pages hosted or served by HubSpot set their own cookies, which may include tracking a visitor across pages and sessions.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies does not stop you using the site.
How information is used
- To reply to you and to arrange and follow up on conversations.
- To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
- To send email you have asked to receive.
- To keep records of client and prospect relationships.
Your information is not sold, rented, or traded.
Who else handles it
A small number of service providers process information on behalf of MloaderDigital, and only for the purposes above:
- Google Analytics, for site measurement.
- HubSpot, for scheduling and, where used, forms, email and website hosting.
- HostGator, which handles email for the domain and keeps server logs.
Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it.
If you subscribe to a mailing list, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any message, or by emailing privacy@mloader.com. Unsubscribing removes you from mailings. It does not delete records of work done together, which are kept as business records.
How long it is kept
Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics. Contact and client records are kept while the relationship is active and for as long as needed afterward for business and tax purposes. You can ask for your information to be deleted at any time, and it will be, except where a record has to be kept by law.
Your choices
- Block or delete cookies in your browser.
- Opt out of Google Analytics using the link above.
- Unsubscribe from any mailing.
- Ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted.
Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights over your information. Requests of any kind go to privacy@mloader.com and will be answered.
Security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect information, including using reputable providers and limiting who can reach it. No website or service can promise perfect security, and that promise is not made here.
Children
This site is intended for business use by adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and information is not knowingly collected from them. If you believe a child has provided information, email the address above and it will be deleted.
Links to other sites
Links to other websites, including the scheduler, are provided for convenience. Once you leave this site, this policy no longer applies and the other site's policy does.
Changes
This policy will be updated when the site changes, for example when new forms, mailings or hosting are added. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here rather than announced individually.
